This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Internet Systems Administrator to join a reputable global organisation where you can expand your skill set and grow your career. You will be involved in systems, network and security administration on Unix and Microsoft systems. You will be responsible for problem diagnosis and resolution on Unix and Microsoft systems and applications. You will assume responsibility for application administration, installation and configuration and you will work on a 24x7 standby basis (there is an on-call allowance). To be considered for this role, you will have come from an ISP background or have been in a systems admin position where you would have experience across Unix systems: Sun Solaris and Red Hat Linux and also Windows 2000/2003 systems. You will also be familiar with: TCP/IP Networks and you will have an understanding of Firewalls and VPN's. Your skill set will also include: - Sun Java System Web. Proxy. Apache Web Server. PHP, Tomcat, Postgres, MYSQL, IIS. AD, Citrix, SQL Server. Cisco Routers and Switches.
